The Corn Law      1815 passed a bill that no foreign corn until home price reached 80shillings a quarter      Landowners had monopoly      Corn was dominant Land Interest      landowners and farmers did well during war      Suffered from bumper harvest       1814 poor harvest imports were needed

The English statesman Sir  Robert Peel  (1788-1850)     Was a Tory in 1809  Recodified English Civil War but made them simple.  Removed death penalty for petty crimes like Pickpocketing  Home sec in 1822, appointed by Liverpool in a reshuffle  Female prisoners looked after by female wardens.  Started to send low-level mobsters to Australia (As seen Cato Street conspiracy 5 people who tried to blow up Liverpool and cabinet)
